1. Introduction

Jerk4Kirk ("the Game," "we," "our," or "us") is published by ConsoleLog LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what the Jerk4Kirk mobile game collects, what it does with that information, and what choices you have. We aim to collect as little as possible.

2. Information We Collect

Anonymous Device Identifier

When you launch Jerk4Kirk we generate a random device identifier and issue an anonymous JSON Web Token (JWT) so the server can recognize your device across sessions. This identifier is not tied to your name, email, phone number, contacts, or any other personally identifiable information (PII). No account creation or login is required.

Leaderboard Handle

If you choose to post a score to the leaderboard you may pick a display handle. The handle is whatever you type — please do not type your real name. Handles are visible to other players alongside your score.

Purchase Receipts

If you buy an in-app cosmetic skin or a consumable power-up, your purchase is processed by the App Store or Google Play and verified through RevenueCat. We receive a receipt token and a RevenueCat alias tied to your anonymous device id. We do not see your payment method, billing address, or platform account email.

Crash & Error Logs

If the game crashes, our servers may receive an anonymous crash record (build number, device model, stack trace) so we can fix bugs. These records contain no PII and are deleted on a rolling basis.

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

  • Names, email addresses, or phone numbers
  • Location data or GPS coordinates
  • Contacts, calendar entries, or photos
  • Microphone or camera input — the game requests neither
  • Browsing history outside of the game
  • Political affiliations, opinions, or voting history
  • Third-party advertising identifiers

4. Third-Party Services

Jerk4Kirk uses the following third parties strictly to deliver core functionality:

  • Apple App Store / Google Play — process in-app purchases under the platform's own privacy policy.
  • RevenueCat — verifies purchase receipts and manages entitlement state for your anonymous device id.
  • Expo / EAS Update — used to deliver app updates and crash diagnostics.

We do not use third-party analytics SDKs or advertising networks. The game does not display advertisements.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your anonymous device record, leaderboard entries, and entitlement state are stored on secure servers operated by ConsoleLog LLC. All traffic is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS. We apply standard industry safeguards to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request deletion of your anonymous device record and leaderboard entries
  • Opt out of any future data collection by uninstalling the game
  • Request information about what data is associated with your device id

California residents (CCPA) and EU residents (GDPR) may exercise additional rights under applicable law. See our Delete Data page or contact us below to make a request.

7. Children's Privacy

Jerk4Kirk is rated for ages 12+ on both stores. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the game after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
